With only two terminals so far there is no reliable rhythm, but the current gap is already longer than the first one. Well-known leaker Gabe Follower has said Valve is unlikely to release another traditional, key-opened case in 2026, which makes a terminal the more likely format for whatever comes next.
What Is the Twinblade Knife?
The Twinblade is an unreleased knife model with a split, two-pronged blade. Dataminer МОЛЕКУРЯТНИК found it in the game files at the start of the CS2 beta, at the same time as the Kukri. The Kukri has since made it into the game; the Twinblade has not. Fan renders of possible finishes (Fade, Doppler, Case Hardened and so on) circulate widely, but they are fan art, not Valve assets.
Why players expect it in the next terminal
New knife types usually launch as the rare special item in a new container. With the Twinblade already modelled and a container overdue, many players expect the two to arrive together. Nothing in the files ties them yet.
