CaseBattles accepts Rust skins for deposits and withdrawals. Rust deposits are credited 100% instantly, with no trade hold. To be clear about what you are playing: every case battle on the site uses our CS2 cases. Rust players deposit Rust skins, battle with those cases, and withdraw Rust or CS2 skins.
How it works
- Deposit Rust skins. Sign in with Steam, open the cashier and pick Rust. Once you accept the trade offer, the full value of your skins is added to your balance straight away.
- Battle with CS2 cases. Join an open battle or create your own: pick the cases, the mode and the number of players. Everyone opens the same cases and the mode decides who takes the pot.
- Withdraw Rust or CS2 skins. Winnings go to your balance. Cash out as Rust skins or CS2 skins to your Steam account, or as crypto.
Why Rust players use CaseBattles
Instant Rust credit. Rust skin deposits are credited at 100% the moment the trade is accepted. There is no 7-day hold and no partial credit to wait on, so you can play with your whole deposit right away.
No 7-day hold. CS2 skin deposits are subject to the Steam trade hold, so only part of their value is credited up front. Rust deposits skip that entirely. The new-player first deposit offer applies to Rust deposits too: a 30% match up to 100 bonus gems, within 30 days of signup, with 3x wagering on the bonus.
Two ways to cash out. Withdraw as Rust skins if you want to stay in Rust, or as CS2 skins or crypto if you prefer. Steam skin deposits have a daily limit, and skins with unstable prices may not be accepted; the cashier shows what you can deposit.
Modes and formats
- Normal: the highest total unboxed value wins the whole pot.
- Terminal: only the final case counts. The best last pull wins.
- Jackpot: a weighted draw. The more you unbox, the bigger your share of the wheel and the better your chance of winning everything.
- Group: everyone plays together and the pot is split evenly.
- Crazy toggle: on Normal, Terminal and Jackpot. It flips the goal so the lowest value wins (in Crazy Jackpot, a smaller total gives a bigger slice).
Formats: 1v1 up to 8 players free-for-all (1v1, 1v1v1, 1v1v1v1, 6 and 8 players), team battles in 2v2, 2v2v2 and 3v3, and Group battles for 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 players. In team battles the team totals are compared and the winning team splits the pot. You can also make a battle private, quick or gold spin, and call bots to fill empty seats.
Fairness and house edge
Every battle is provably fair: the result comes from a Random.org seed that is locked before the battle starts and that you can verify afterwards. Each drop is rolled from the case's published drop table, and the house edge is a flat 5%, the same on battles as on case opening. See how CS2 case odds work on the case odds page and how battles work in our case battles guide.
Rust Case Battles FAQ
Can I play case battles with Rust skins?
Yes, as a deposit. Your Rust skins are credited to your CaseBattles balance at 100% of their value as soon as the trade is accepted, with no trade hold. You then use that balance to join or create battles. The battles themselves use our CS2 cases, so the drops you win are CS2 skins.
Are there Rust cases in the battles?
No. Every case battle on CaseBattles uses CS2 cases. Rust skins are a way to fund your balance and a way to cash out, not the contents of the cases.
Is there a 7-day hold on Rust deposits?
No. Rust skin deposits are credited 100% instantly once you accept the trade. CS2 skin deposits are different: part is credited instantly and the rest is released after the Steam trade hold clears.
Can I withdraw Rust skins?
Yes. You can withdraw your balance as Rust skins or CS2 skins to your Steam account, or as crypto. Whatever you won in a battle is added to your balance first, so you choose how to cash out.
Does the first deposit bonus work with Rust skins?
Yes. The first deposit offer works on every deposit method, Rust skins included: a 30% match up to 100 bonus gems, within 30 days of signup, with 3x wagering on the bonus.
What is the house edge on case battles?
A flat 5%, the same as case opening. A battle does not add an extra cut: everyone pays the price of the cases in the battle and the winner takes everything that was unboxed.
18+ only. Case battles are a form of gambling: set a budget, play with what you can afford to lose, and see our responsible gaming page for limits and self-exclusion.
