Case opening sites sell the same thing: a CS2 (formerly CSGO) skin drawn at random from a case. What differs is how much of every case price the site keeps, whether you can check the roll, how you pay in and how fast you get skins out. This page compares the sites players ask about most on those points, using only what each site states on its own pages.
We run CaseBattles.gg, so read our row with that in mind. Every competitor cell links the page we checked, and the check date is next to each table. Sites change their terms; follow the link before you rely on a figure.
House edge on case opening (checked 7 October 2026)
The house edge is the share of each case price the site keeps on average. Lower is better for you. A number appears only when the site publishes it.
| Site | Case opening edge | Checked on | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| CaseBattles.gg | 5% | casebattles.gg/case-simulator/oddsFlat edge, published per game. | |
| CSGOEmpire | 8.8% | help.csgoempire.comHelp centre article dated 7 Feb 2025. | |
| Clash.gg | 10% | clash.gg/questionsPer-game table in the FAQ. | |
| CSGORoll | Not published | csgoroll.com/info/faqFAQ says each game has a different edge but gives no figure. | |
| Howl.gg | Not published | howl.gg/faq | |
| Bandit.camp | Not published | help.bandit.camp (Games) | |
| Key-Drop | Not published | help.key-drop.com (Case Battle) | |
| Hellcase | Not found | hellcase.com/faqNo figure found; the FAQ did not load fully when we checked. |
"Not published" does not mean high; it means the site does not state it where we looked. The same figures for case battles are on the best case battle sites page.
Deposit methods and welcome offers (checked 7 October 2026)
Quoted or summarised from each site's own help centre or FAQ. Where a page does not state something, the cell says so rather than guessing. Welcome offers often carry wagering terms; read them on the site.

How to judge a case opening site
Published odds. Before you open, you should see every item in the case and its drop chance, and the site should state its house edge. If either is missing you cannot tell what a case is worth. On CaseBattles.gg every case lists each skin's chance, and the CS2 case odds page explains how they are set.
Provably fair you can actually check. The site should commit to a seed before the open and show you enough afterwards (server seed, client seed, nonce or signature) to recompute the result yourself. A "provably fair" badge with no verifier is a claim, not a proof. Ours is on the fairness page.
Withdrawal speed and conditions. Read the withdrawal rules before you deposit: minimum deposit before withdrawing, identity checks, and what happens when the skin you want is out of stock. Skins you deposit by Steam trade are covered by Steam's 7 to 8 day trade hold on every site. A small test withdrawal tells you more than any review. Our rules are on how withdrawals work.
Licence claims to be wary of. A logo or the word "licensed" in a footer proves nothing on its own. If a site claims a licence, it should give a licence number you can look up on the issuing authority's own public register, under the same company name the site's terms name as operator. Be wary of claims with no number, a register entry for a different company, or a seal that does not link anywhere. CaseBattles.gg does not display a gambling licence; it is operated by CB Entertainment Holdings Ltd, registered in Belize (no. 000059748), and every game's edge is published per game.
Bonuses you can read in one go. A good welcome offer states the match, the cap, the time window and the wagering requirement in plain words. If you cannot find the wagering figure, assume it is high.
CaseBattles.gg
A flat 5% edge on case opening and every other game, per-item odds on every case, rolls you can verify, deposits in CS2 and Rust skins, crypto or gift cards, and withdrawals as CS2 skins or crypto. The same cases can be opened solo or taken into CS2 case battles against other players.
Welcome offer: 3 free cases with any referral code (FREE works if you do not have a creator's code); 30% match on your deposits, bonus up to 100 gems, in as many deposits as you like for 30 days, 3x wagering on the bonus.
Case Opening Sites FAQ
What is the best CSGO or CS2 case opening site?
Pick the site that publishes its house edge and per-item drop odds, lets you verify every open, and pays withdrawals quickly. Of the sites we checked on 7 October 2026, three publish a case opening edge: CaseBattles.gg 5%, CSGOEmpire 8.8% and Clash.gg 10%.
Which case opening site has the lowest house edge?
Among sites that publish a figure, CaseBattles.gg is lowest at a flat 5%, ahead of CSGOEmpire (8.8%) and Clash.gg (10%). CSGORoll, Howl.gg, Bandit.camp and Key-Drop did not state a figure on the pages we checked, and we could not find one for Hellcase.
Are CSGO case opening sites rigged?
A provably fair site commits to a seed before you open, so you can check afterwards that the result came from that seed. That proves the roll was not changed after the fact; it does not change the house edge, which is why the published edge matters as much as the fairness check.
What welcome bonus does CaseBattles.gg offer?
3 free cases with any referral code; 30% match on your deposits, bonus up to 100 gems, in as many deposits as you like for 30 days, 3x wagering. The FREE code works if you do not have a creator code.
Is opening cases on these sites profitable?
Not on average. Every case is priced above the expected value of its contents; the gap is the house edge. Treat case opening as paid entertainment, set a budget, and only play if you are 18 or older.
18+ only. Case opening is gambling with virtual items: on average you get back less than you spend. Set a limit and stick to it; deposit limits and self-exclusion are on the responsible gaming page.
