About the Classic Knife
Classic Knife is a Rare Special Item knife that drops from one of the 42 CS2 weapon cases, the CS20 Case.
Valve released the CS20 Case on 18 October 2019.
Each open has a 0.0200% chance (about 1 in 5,000) of pulling it, as one of 13 Rare Special Item finishes. One in ten of those drops is StatTrak.
It sits in tier 5 of 5 (Mil-Spec to Rare Special) and ranks #7 of 30 finishes in the CS20 Case by top-wear Steam price.
It sells for about $230.43, against $3.77 to open the CS20 Case (case plus $2.50 key), so it is worth more than one open.
Cases that drop the Classic Knife
Chance per open = Valve's Rare Special Item odds divided by the number of Rare Special Item finishes in that case. StatTrak versions drop 10% of the time. Open any of these free in the simulator: demo, nothing won. 18+.
